Lakers Look for Strong Finish at ACRA National Championships

The 2016 season is rapidly coming to a close with the team trip to the ACRA National Championship regatta fast approaching. Host of the 1996 Olympic Games, this storied course in Gainesville, Georgia will host the Laker Navy along with familiar teams like Michigan, Purdue, and North Carolina. Races will take place on May 28th and May 29th.

With another successful Dad Vail Regatta behind the team all boats are looking for strong performances to finish off the 2016 campaign. The entire Laker Navy will be traveling for the final race of the triple crown. Both teams will compete for a National Title, with the women looking to reclaim the gold medal in the eight and the men looking to repeat the success of last years silver medal. Be sure to check for updates this weekend and, as always, keep pulling for the Laker Navy!
