The Laker Navy will be sending its’ Men’s Varsity eight to England on Wednesday to compete at the Henley Royal Regatta which takes place July 2nd – July 6th at Henley-on-the-Thames. The men have received a top 15 draw and will avoid having to row in the qualifying races on Friday, June 27th. With 75 entries this year in the Temple Challenge Cup, and only 32 spots available in the field, sixty teams will have to go through a qualification time trial to fill the remaining 17 slots. The Lakers were drawn to be among the field of fifteen that avoids the time trial.
