Family Weekend!

To all parents, families and friends — this invitation is from the GVSU Rowers. Family weekend at GVSU is Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2. The activities listed below are on Saturday, October 1. Hope to see you all here! Chris

Come Join the Grand Valley Rowers for Family Weekend!
The boathouse will be open and there will be opportunities for friends, family and faculty to learn to row. We will be sending you out in boats with the Varsity rowers. Learn about where your GV students spend much of their free time. Let them show you something they are passionate about. We will be Christening the “Mike Keeler” at the boathouse with a presentation and a varsity row by. We will also be having an open house at the rowing training center (RTC) in the afternoon, so stop by and check out all the trophies, equipment and videos. We will be serving punch and cookies. Later in the afternoon we will be hosting an “RTC-gate” across from the GV arch. There will be free parking for the game, and a shuttle to the stadium. Coach Bancheri will be grilling hot dogs; please feel free to bring a dish to pass.

Schedule:
Open Boathouse: 11:00 am-1:00 pm
Christening of the “Mike Keeler”: Noon
Open RTC: 12:30 pm-3:00 pm
Tailgate: 5:00-game start
