Laker Navy Has a Successful Bald Eagle Collegiate Invite

The Laker Navy is heading home from windy Indy!! We are leaving with lots of hardware, great racing experience, and excitement for the upcoming Frostbite Regatta.

The day started off with a tailwind and some fog, but all crews toughed out the conditions. The Varsity Women went up against Purdue and proved their speed, giving them a tough fight.

The Varsity Men raced pairs, fours, and eights. The men faced some tough competition, but came out strong and showed how much they have improved over the past few weeks.

The Novice Women were successful today, winning the 8 event. Although still very new to the sport, the women adapted well to the heavy chop during their race.

The Novice Men raced Wisconsin and Virginia for the first time, proving they have been working hard over the course of the fall season. All crews have shown tremendous improvement since the first day of practice and we are excited to see what the rest of the season holds!
