Laker Navy Preparing for Bald Eagle Collegiate Invitational

After another Head of the Charles, the Laker Navy is heading to Indianapolis to compete in the Bald Eagle Collegiate Challenge. Both novice and varsity will travel to Indiana to compete in the last away regatta of the year.

The Head of the Eagle brings with it high level competition. For the men’s events, Notre Dame, along with the University of Michigan and the University of Virginia. The women’s events features GVSU racing the Boilermakers and the University of Illinois. This event will be a great challenge and another opportunity to build speed against high quality programs.

With the end of the fall season closing in quickly, every member of the team is eager to race in one of the last regattas of the fall. Check back here or on social media for pictures and the results of the races. See you in Indianapolis, keep pulling for the Laker Navy!
